How AtracLocate works
New Atrac customers are issued a username and password giving them instant 24/7 access to their vehicle from anywhere in the world.The AtracLocate system works in any normal web browser, without having to download or install any extra software. If you have a reasonably modern PC and access to the Internet, you already have everything you need, and you can begin working with the AtracFleet system immediately.
If you'd like reports sent to you automatically, you'll need to tell the AtracLocate system your email address as well.

Constant updates
The AtracLocate system constantly receives data from your vehicle. When the engine is running or your vehicle is moving around, the AtracLocate system provides you with new information on their condition and location every five minutes.If your vehicle leaves cellular coverage temporarily, the AtracLocate system automatically fills in all the important data as soon as it comes back into range.
Reporting
The AtracLocate system can provide printable reports about your vehicle.Some popular reports include:

For some vehicles equipped with accessories, AtracLocate can report when the accessory is used and for how long (this feature may attract additional installation costs and is dependent on the capabilities of the vehicle.)You can show any of these reports within the AtracLocate system at any time. Reports can also be emailed to you or your staff automatically once a day.
Other features
Data exportAtracLocate offers an HTTP-based delivery system that will enable you to extract live information and import it into your existing systems. More information on this option is available from the Atrac sales team.
Accuracy
The AtracLocate system returns data accurate enough to show you the closest street address to the vehicle's actual location. On a monthly basis, the odometer information is usually over 95% accurate.
Buying AtracLocate
The AtracLocate system will cost you no more than $2 per vehicle per day. This covers the hardware rental and a login to the AtracLocate system, with access to the high resolution mapping data and the standard reports. There is a minimum rental period of 36 months.Finally, the cost of installing the hardware varies between vehicles, but is rarely more than $160 per vehicle. Atrac can assist you by organising installation with skilled service providers in your local area.
