AtracFleet provides Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) technology enabling companies and organisations to more effectively manage and control fleets of vehicles and plant.  By determining and analysing what is often unknown and better managing what is known, significant savings are derived and risks reduced.
 
Small, unobtrusive tracking units are covertly installed into your vehicles to collect and transmit data.  These units obtain their speed, heading and location from the Global Positioning System constellation of satellites. The units also collect critical data from the vehicle's own internal systems, such as ignition state, operating hours, and battery levels.
 
This data is then transmitted over the GSM cellular network, analysed by our back end systems and presented to you in a number of different ways, including: email alerting, scheduled reports by email or through our website.
 
This capture, analysis and reporting of location and operational data, enables the following:

• Precise locating of assets, including dispatch and recovery
• Accurate measurement of speed, fuel burn, distance travelled and utilisation
